Renovation Projects

This summer, I am undergoing an extreme home makeover. Unfortunately, there will not be any television crew filming every step of the progress along the way. This project will just be performed by me, my family, and several landscapers with whom I’m in a business relationship with. I have been living in the same home for many years now, and it’s about time for a drastic overhaul. I want to breathe life into my front lawn and backyard again.

I have been doing some research of possible project ideas that I am considering for my front lawn. One of my biggest pet peeves is that I have an unattended garden, often full with weeds and overgrown grass that my family does not have the time to care for. I would love to have a beautiful garden, but never felt the motivation to do anything with mine in its current state. If this landscaping project can rejuvenate the appearance of my garden, I would be willing to invest in some professional gardening services for the future.

Alternatively, my spouse suggested that we just pave the entire front lawn altogether. It would expand our driveway significantly, especially since we are planning to buy a new car for our son. Laying out cement tiles over our front lawn seems a bit unexciting as far as landscaping ideas go, but it’s a practical plan that I’m actually considering. I have already researched about several landscaping Richmond Hill companies that can take upon such tasks.

Then again, I’m not sure if I want to get rid of a garden completely from my household. It would be nice to have a little bit of green in my window scenery. A compromise that we’ve reached with our contractors is to implement this garden within our backyard. Either way, it was recommended that we’d make our decision soon, because summer is the best time of the season to start planting for a garden. Otherwise, it might be too late to include any natural greenery into our house.

We are also considering building a swimming pool in our backyard, although the pool maintenance expenses leave us a bit hesitant to carry forth with the project. Nonetheless, the pool will definitely be a great attraction during our summer family gatherings. I’ve already considered several landscaping Toronto companies that come with affordable facilities to include within our household. I’m sure whatever decision we make in the end, this summer landscaping project will end up being a success!
